Donation pooling

In principle, Médecins du Monde does not earmark donations; donations received are pooled for all missions. This clear principle allows us to act strictly with regard to the actual on-the-ground needs and not on financial considerations or strong media coverage of emergency situations. As a result, if the donations received exceed our commitments, they will be reallocated to other programmes.
